SELECTION OF CHEERLEADING SQUAD

The following will complete the Skyview High School 2012-2013 Cheerleading Squads:

* Varsity Cheer: open to Sophomores, Juniors, and/or Seniors
* Junior Varsity: open to Freshman, Sophomores and/or Juniors
* Freshman: open to Freshmen
* Competition Team: open to any Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and/or Seniors
* Note: All teams are allowed a maximum of 16 female members and 4 male members; The Competition Team may have up to 24 individuals (male & female).

Prospective cheerleaders must attend every tryout clinic. Missing just one day (without Coach Tommerup’s clearance) will result in disqualification.

Being a member of the Cheerleading squad one year IN NO WAY GUARANTEES PLACEMENT ON THE SQUAD FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR. Every member must go through the same try-out process and meet the same criteria during spring tryouts.

Academics take priority over extra-curricular activities. Prospective cheerleaders must meet WIAA academic standards (passing 5 of 6 classes).
